Legacy Portraits

My newest Tapestry Painting. I am now creating Legacy Portraits. The fabric for the dress and canvas is made from my mother and my wedding dress. The left of the figure is my mother 1959 and the right is me 1979. 

New on the horzin

I am going in a new direction in my Tapestry Painting. 

Memorial portrayes, I can create images from photos and use hair, fabric, jewlery and even ashes to make the Portraits more personal. 

Life Partners

Quickly finished "Life Partners" first time making any animal. I was hesitant because I am afraid of my pieces being called craft. But people are very interested.

Erik

This tapestry is called "Erik" He has a gold earring, he could be a pirate to steal your hear. The beads for his hair are so many different colors. Really enjoyed painting with these beads.

Kelly

I was commotioned to do a Tapestry Painting by a Photographer in the Twin Cities. Charles sent me the photo of his lady friend and I reproduced it in a Tapestry. I even worked with leather in the vest and pheasant feathers in her hair. The sparkles are Swarovski crystals.

Getting closer Madina and I worked for three hours yesterday and need to kick butt to get it done by the first of July. Together it will happen.
