Update on State fair project

Getting closer Madina and I worked for three hours yesterday and need to kick butt to get it done by the first of July. Together it will happen.

Working on for this years State Fair Entry

Working on a large piece for the Minnesota State Fair. Hoping for first prize. the figure will be a hand stitched half doll on the canvas. Lady of the Poppies will still have her skin embroidered and her hair will be beaded.

This piece is called Wild. She rests on her elbows and knees.

Update

Almost done with the project called Wild. Soon I will have the finished picture.

Storm comming

A February snow storm is coming. And I can see a lot of stitch work happening. I just have to remember to get up once and a wail. I can stay in one place up to five hours, not good for my back and shoulders. I started putting videos of my Tapestry Paintings on YouTube under moonbaydesigns. It helps show more detail that still picture just can't do.

My latest compleation

This is my latest completed Tapestry Painting. I found some beads for Liona's hair called grape jelly, using them with the black and black triple cut beads have made a very delectable color. This one is a 8x10 size and I am working faster. My daughter has seven more for me to work on. She is a great help and creative force.
